Brussels, 12 July 2024 - Three prominent energy companies, Eneco, Ocean Winds (the joint venture between EDP Renewables and ENGIE dedicated to offshore wind energy) and Otary (of which Aspiravi is a shareholder), announce the formation of a strategic partnership (subject to all required regulatory/competition approvals) to jointly participate in the tender for the Princess Elisabeth concessions for offshore wind energy in Belgium.

Aspiravi Offshore (which is part of the Aspiravi Group), Parkwind and Sumitomo Corporation have reached an agreement on share ownership and cooperation within the Northwind offshore wind farm. Aspiravi Offshore acquires all of Parkwind's shares in Northwind, thus acquiring 70% of the shares of Northwind. The new shareholder structure ensures a solid Belgian anchoring of the offshore wind farm.
