    Aspiravi takes part in strategic consortium to jointly pursue the offshore wind Princess Elisabeth concession in Belgium

    Brussels, 12 July 2024 - Three prominent energy companies, Eneco, Ocean Winds (the joint venture between EDP Renewables and ENGIE dedicated to offshore wind energy) and Otary (of which Aspiravi is a shareholder), announce the formation of a strategic partnership (subject to all required regulatory/competition approvals) to jointly participate in the tender for the Princess Elisabeth concessions for offshore wind energy in Belgium.

    Presentation of the new solar project in Sant Fruitós de Bages

    On June 20, the official presentation of the only subsidized photovoltaic project in Catalonia, which will be located in Sant Fruitós de Bages, took place.     Google and Aspiravi strengthen collaboration to deliver new renewable energy projects in Belgium

    Through a PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) between both companies, Google will purchase an additional 19.8 MW of wind capacity from Aspiravi. This installed capacity comes from 3 new-to-the-grid wind farms that Aspiravi is building in Flanders, Belgium and will be operational in 2025.

    Beaulieu International Group (B.I.G.) and A&U Energie team up for the energy transition together

    Wielsbeke, 11 June 2024 - Beaulieu International Group is investing €5 million to convert the fossil energy supply of its Cushion Vinyl production plant in Wielsbeke, Belgium, to biomass-generated steam; a transition to renewable energy. To this end, B.I.G. Is teaming up with A&U Energie, a company specialized in converting non-recyclable wood waste into green energy and heat. This strategic move is in line with B.I.G.'s goal of becoming 'net zero' by 2030.

    300 primary school children visit experience day on wind energy in Oostkamp

    Alongside the E40 and near the interchange between the E40 and the E403, on the territory of Oostkamp, Aspiravi has recently built 4 new wind turbines. On Tuesday 11 June, the company therefore invited the 10/12 year-olds from the primary schools of Oostkamp, Loppem, Veldegem, Ruddervoorde and Zedelgem to an experience day on wind energy.
