Since April 2026, Aspiravi Energy has been supplying renewable energy to Carmeuse under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). The agreement runs for two years and covers approximately 12.5 GWh of Belgian wind energy annually.
Under this agreement, Carmeuse is purchasing 5 MW of capacity from Aspiravi Energy’s renewable energy production.
The agreement is in line with Carmeuse’s sustainability strategy. The company aims to source 75 per cent of the electricity for its European operations from green sources by 2030.
For Aspiravi Energy, the partnership forms part of its ambition to support energy-intensive companies in their energy transition using locally produced renewable energy. A PPA not only provides companies with access to green electricity but also ensures greater price certainty in a volatile energy market.

Companies such as Borealis, Google, MIVB, d’Arta and Decathlon have also already opted for renewable energy from Aspiravi Energy. Thanks to the Aspiravi Group’s wind farms in Belgium, Aspiravi Energy is able to supply locally generated green energy directly to businesses and develop energy solutions tailored to their needs.
